I really liked the review of 'Dig Deeper' - it looks like a great book. I'm just wondering if any of you eds. have read or used 'Getting the Message' by Daniel Doriani published by P&R 1996 and 'How to Interpret the Bible' by Bennie Wolvaardt published by Veritas College in partnership with The Good Book Company 1999. I know a lot of theology schools that use these two books as primers for hermeneutics. I was wondering if any of you might be able to comment on how these 3 books match up against each other - and if there are any other great, accessible books on the subject (perhaps 'Postcard from Palestine' - Matthias Media)that you could include in a comparison of strengths and weaknesses.
